Tel Aviv expanding bike rental service!
Following the great success the Tel -O- Fun bike rental service, that was launched seven months ago, the city of Tel Aviv-Yaffo have announced a number of new measures, to make green travel more easily assessable for tourists.

Tel -O- Fun have introduced daily and weekly subscriptions, opening the city up to would be cyclists at a cost of 16 NIS per day or 60 NIS per week.
Everyday, approximately 5,500 bikes are rented at the city's 141 rental stations, about half of which are situated in the city center. People will now be able to purchase daily or weekly subscriptions at the actual rental stations with a credit card.
Furthermore, the city of Tel Aviv-Yaffo plans to open 50 more rental stations, both in more outlying neighborhoods as well as many of the popular hotspots like Florentine and the beach promenade.
In a further attempt to take-on carbon omissions, the city is also discussing the possibility of offering free parking to Tel -O -Fun subscribers on the outskirts of the city to encourage commuters to park their cars and get on a bike.
