The structure was built by the Scottish Church in 1894 as a hospital. In 1959, it was turned into a guesthouse and in 2004, renovated into a boutique hotel. The European design was retained and is characterized by stone arched windows, heavy draperies and soft carpets. From the upper floors one can see Tiberias and Lake Kineret.
